How can Estie help without seeing my skin?
Estie can see your skin, in a way. The app has a skin analysis, and you can add photos to follow how your skin is changing over time.
Photos are always optional.
On top of that, Estie learns from everything you tell it: your skin type, your concerns and your routine, plus your check-ins and feedback over time.
So the advice grows with your skin.
Let's be honest, though: a virtual analysis will never beat a professional face scan from an aesthetician or dermatologist. If you can go, please do, because it's amazing for treatments and for a real look at your skin.
If you don't have access to one, or you want guidance in between visits, Estie is a good way to keep making better choices and to see how your skin is improving. And if something worries you, always see a professional in person.
What is Estie's advice based on, and does it use AI?
Yes, Estie uses AI, and we'd rather say it plainly. Estie is your aesthetician in your pocket, but it isn't an aesthetician on call: you're talking to an app, not to a person.
The expert work comes from us. Estie is built on aesthetician knowledge, the latest skincare research and the European Commission's CosIng ingredient database. The AI helps us personalise that faster: it spots patterns, tracks what's working for your skin and fine-tunes your match over time.
It doesn't replace your aesthetician, your doctor or your dermatologist. It helps you make better skincare choices in between.
What if I don't know my skin type, or I get it wrong?
That's okay. Hardly anyone gets it perfect on day one.
Most people misjudge their skin at first, which is why Estie doesn't rely on one quiz. Your matches evolve as you check in and give quick feedback.
It's a system that learns with you.
Why Estie, when I can ask a pharmacist, an aesthetician or Google?
Pharmacists and aestheticians are fantastic, and nothing beats hands-on expertise in person, especially during a treatment.
Google is useful too, but it doesn't know your skin.
Estie isn't here to replace any of them. A pharmacist or aesthetician often knows the product ranges they carry best, and most don't have time to compare five cleansers or tweak your routine every week.
Estie does: it remembers your skin and routine, compares products across many brands, adapts as your skin changes and keeps going between visits.
Think of Estie as the bridge between visits, and the one in your pocket when you're standing in the shop wondering if something is right for you.
Why Estie, when I can just ask ChatGPT?
ChatGPT can be great, and it can feel very personal. We use AI too.
The difference is context and honesty. A general chatbot only knows what you type in that moment, and it can be quick to agree with you, even when your ideas contradict each other. Estie is built for one thing: your skin.
It remembers your skin, your concerns, your routine, your past products and your photos, follows your progress over time, and is built on aesthetician knowledge and ingredient data.
And it can tell you honestly when something isn't right for you.
Does Estie take money from brands?
No. Estie is brand-independent, with no brand deals and no ads.
That's the only way you can trust a recommendation: it should only be based on what fits you and what you need.
How much does Estie cost?
Estie is a paid app with a two-week free trial. You don't need to add a payment card, so there's nothing to cancel during your trial.
Use it, see how it feels, and if it's not for you, that's fine.
The current price is shown in the App Store.
We chose to be paid by you, not by brands. It's the only way Estie can stay independent, and it means we never have to sell your data.
Why doesn't Estie use red and green ingredient scores?
An ingredient isn't simply good or bad. It depends on your skin, how much of it is used (the percentage) and the product it's in.
And you can relax about buying from established shops. In Europe, cosmetics must pass a strict safety assessment before they are sold, and some ingredients are banned or limited under the EU Cosmetics Regulation.
Products that don't meet those rules can't be sold.
So when you buy from an established shop in Europe, you can generally trust that the product is safe to use.
A product can be perfectly safe and still be wrong for your skin. That's where Estie comes in.
How long until I see a difference?
Skincare takes time, and anyone who promises overnight results isn't being honest. Some changes can show up within weeks, while deeper changes take longer.
Estie won't promise miracles. What it does is help you make better choices from day one, so you get there with less trial and error, fewer wrong buys and more products that actually work for you.
What you get quickly is clarity: why a product fits you and what to do next.
Over time, your check-ins show what's working.
Is Estie meant for everyone?
Estie is made for adults, 18 and over, who want a clearer path in their skincare.
It helps most if you care about your skin but feel unsure what to use or what to change.
It's especially for you if you've already spent money on products that didn't work, or your skin keeps changing with hormones, stress or the seasons.
It's probably not for you if you're completely happy with your skin, never get influenced by product launches and never second-guess your routine.
And that's great, honestly. More power to you.
Younger skin is still developing and needs as little as possible, so Estie isn't made for kids. Why kids need less
If you're a teenager with skin trouble, talk to a parent and a doctor or dermatologist first.
What about sensitive skin or pregnancy?
Yes, you can use Estie. We ask about both, because they matter.
If you're pregnant, your body changes, and your skin often changes with it: it can become more sensitive and react more easily. Retinol and other retinoids (vitamin A) are the ingredients most commonly advised against during pregnancy, so Estie won't recommend them to you.
If you have sensitive skin, Estie steers you away from strong products. We can't promise you won't react, though, because sensitive skin sometimes has to try things out, so go slowly, especially if you're very reactive or allergic.
Estie gives skincare guidance, not medical advice. Please check with your doctor or dermatologist during pregnancy, and see one if your skin swells, burns or anything worries you.
If a doctor or dermatologist has prescribed you a treatment, follow their advice first, because that's their area of expertise, not ours.
But Estie can help you adjust your routine around it, for example to manage side effects.
When and where can I get Estie?

Your data is stored in Europe, and Estie follows GDPR, the EU's data protection law.
We never sell your personal data.
